EclecticPond will offer a unique experience to your students by bringing condensed versions of the plays that students are required to read into schools. In addition to these performances, our “company of players” and crew will be available to speak to classes about the play and our production, as well as offering a range of workshops to get students out of their seats and involved.  By providing students with a living, breathing performance, we can help schools create in them an appreciation for the language and the culture taught to them every day in their literature and English classes. 

The Common Core State Standards and the National Standards for Art Education that apply to our programming include standards in Theatre, English/Language Arts, and Social Studies.

We hope that by being invited into schools, and bringing texts to life for students, they can begin to see the beauty and relevance of what they are taught in class every day.  If you cannot bring us into your school contact us about the possibility of brining your class to us in Irvington.  We will work with you and your school to create the best possible scenario!
