ETC Milestone: 501(c)(3)

EclecticPond has been on a journey that has already spanned four years and several countries. We have given ourselves a clear mission, to create imaginative and accessible theatre experiences with the power to engage and transform the lives of communities and young people.

The path to any destination may not always be clear or smooth, but today we are happy to announce a major milestone for ETC.

After more than a year of work, EclecticPond Theatre Company has gained 501(c)(3) status!

With this official non-profit status, ETC joins the ranks of the Indiana Repertory Theatre, Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre, and Q Artistry, to name a few.

What does this mean for EclecticPond? We are now federally recognized as a charitable organization and can apply for grants that will allow us to pursue bigger and greater opportunities, improving the quality and reach of our productions for you, our audience.

We hope this will enable us to introduce Shakespeare and other classic works to a wider range of children and adults throughout Indianapolis.

And that is where you come in. As our close friends and supporters you can help us expand our presence in Irvington and Indy. Do you have kids in a school that would benefit from us bringing classic works to life? Are you part of a community group that could come together to see one of our productions? Help us share great theatre with your community.

Finally, because we are officially a charitable organization monetary donations are now tax deductible. In-kind contributions can be made as well, including props or costumes, and, of course, the gift of your time, while not tax deductible, is always very valuable to us. Macbeth Cast & Production Dates

EclecticPond Theatre Company presents…

MacbethMacbeth

By William Shakespeare
Adapted & Directed by Catherine Cardwell

“Fair is foul, and foul is fair” – Macbeth’s desire to gain power and keep it at all costs threatens to destroy a nation, replacing dignity and rule of law with guilt and paranoia. Set in the American 1950s, see Shakespeare’s greatest couple rise and fall with each choice they make. Catherine Cardwell directs her immediate and visceral adaption of Shakespeare’s intense, claustrophobic and bloody drama.
