Romeo & Juliet

R&J: Two Star-Crossed Lovers. One Fiery-Footed Hour. You all know the story – “Two star-crossed lovers…,” their feuding families, and (SPOILER ALERT), they both die at the end. But, this isn’t your school textbook Verona. Shakespeare’s words are kept but applied to the 21st Century. Originally conceived for student audiences, ETC is excited to share R&J with the entire community. Which family will you choose? Join us before the show for an educational event* that will help get you in a Shakespearean mood! With your ticket to ETC’s Romeo & Juliet, you will have the chance to make a production design sketch, puzzle out the plot of R&J, and tackle the language of Shakespeare. Upon completion of this crash (or refresher) course, you will receive one half-off ticket for Comedy of Errors (Feb-Mar 2014)! Designed for grades 3 and older. A post-show discussion will follow each performance. Because we are all continuing to learn and educators/students at heart, we will extend our discount to everyone! A different cast of 8 actors every night!
